Earlier this week, we discussed the benefits of journaling.

We established that journaling is an effective tool to:

  • Reduce stress.

  • Reduce anxiety.

  • Reduce depression.

What I didn’t mention was that journaling can also:

  • Increase our cognitive abilities.

  • Boost our memory.

  • Promote our ability to be mindful.

Journaling is instrumental in healing and finding a more profound sense of peace and happiness. But the problem is many of us don’t quite know where to start.

A prerequisite to journaling is the journal itself. A journal is a notebook full of blank or lined pages, whatever your preference is. Choose something that you feel compelled to pick up.
